Tweeting Twats - Loving Twitter

After a while of not blogging this is the first in a few weeks. Over being lazy, I am blogging during lunch time at the office; lunch time usually spent tweeting about very random things…

Twitter, the portal to a new life. Social media, a way to interact with people from all over the world, A place to make friends, keep up with cool friend (not those annoying Facebook fools that have updates like - my life will not go on without you, or F**k those who think they can destroy me, Stupid c***t.) and maybe a lover or two?
Twitter is fun and you get to decide who to become in the few characters they allow, some choose to promote their business and agenda (I’m looking at you Kim K) and other give us a glimpse into their “fabulous lives”, which gets rather annoying (@Jeaneous) and other confess their true self (probably Oprah – but I doubt it). Random people say such kind things of Follow Friday or send a morning message that can brighten up a gloomy Monday morning.  (@Kaiser Raath and @al_ice and @jhbprincess) The fitness guys (@JonathanAB, @kylmartin and  @chantelleboo) that keep me motivated and keen on working on my fitness. And don’t forget the stylish and fashion that keep me connected to fashion and art and all things pretty (@stylingconcepts and @ellemagazine) Twitter allows for an introduction. Follow someone and comment on their tweets and soon you will be part of the “in crowd”, dependent on what you consider the “in crowd”.

Twitter renews ones faith in humanity. So many tweets concerning the rapture, would have made me happy to gave the world end on Saturday. Facebook causes in fighting amongst friends and family (you know what I mean, the accidental uploading of your drag pictures accidentally exposing your fagatory to the extended New Zealand family that mother tried desperately to keep a secret – those types).

This week I’m having lunch with a brand new twitter friend, and I hope to have future lunches with more of the awesome people I follow. And who knows, maybe something will develop with someone and we will have a twitter wedding? With Twitter, anything is possible.

So here’s to twitter, removing the barriers and judgments we place on each other.

Happy Tweeting
